Anxiety
Anxiety is a natural and useful defence to assist with daily life. From an evolutionary perspective, it is vital in assessing risks and determining how we react to keep us safe. However, when anxiety becomes more prolonged and intense, it can become an issue affecting day to day life. This can be generalised or specific; manifesting itself in many different ways, such as experiencing panic attacks or social anxiety. Although anxiety is experienced by a lot of people, it can help to talk to a trained therapist in order to learn the triggers, explore the underlying causes and managing the symptoms.
